Compliance Partner supports universities, companies in the industrial and service sectors as well as public administration in recognising risks at an early stage, consciously assuming responsibility and acting in a legally compliant manner - through consulting, practice-oriented audit concepts, audit investigations and training.
Behind Compliance Partner is Florian Habel, a business graduate and recognised expert in internal auditing, financial processes and governance.
His professional career spans more than three decades: from leading positions at the Jülich Research Centre, the German Aerospace Centre and the German Research Foundation (DFG) to, most recently, the establishment and management of internal auditing at the Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences.
This profile is complemented by his work as a lecturer, which continues to this day, as well as his management and supervisory role as the sole shareholder of a limited company in the communications industry.

DEVELOPMENT AND INTRODUCTION OF AN AUDITING SYSTEM
We support you in the structured establishment of a functioning audit function - from the creation of company-specific guidelines and manuals to the application of current IIA standards adapted to your organisation and the organisational integration and definition of reporting lines. An initial work plan is developed in line with industry practice and underpinned by specific audit concepts. An Audit Universe provides orientation for future work plans.

AUDIT INVESTIGATIONS
On request, targeted individual case analyses are offered in the following areas:
• Finance and accounting
• Organisational structure (e.g. structure and size of individual units)
• Process organisation (e.g. work steps and responsibilities)

SPECIAL EXAMINATIONS
Independent special investigations are carried out if there is a concrete initial suspicion of fraudulent behaviour - discreet, well-founded and legally secure:
• Detection of possible fraud
• Full audit of all significant activities of one or more organisational units within a defined investigation period
• Comparison of company practices with internal and industry-specific compliance requirements
• Investigation of the behaviour of employees and management bodies without bias and with unconditional competence
TRAININGS &
WORKSHOPS
To round off the range of services, practical training courses and workshops on the topics of auditing, compliance and governance are offered on request. For specialised topics, experienced external partners are brought in as required.
